Classes are Monday - Friday 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM with a lunch break.
Register to become a bike mechanic. This program will take you through the fundamentals of bike repair and maintenance. Be prepared to put your skills to work in a modern bike shop with a through understanding of bike mechanics, including electric bikes.
Bike Mechanic Certificate
Each semester we register a maximum of 4 students for our bike mechanic course.
Your hands-on education will included access to your own work bench with a full set of Park Tools. You will also have access to your own wheel truing station and electric bike lift.
The shop also boasts a Morizumi spoke cutting and threading (SCT) machine as well as all the diagnostic tools for trouble shooting and repairing electric bikes.
Daily reading will be required and the shop will be open Saturday's 10 AM - 6 PM for you to practice your skills.
A course grade of 90% in both a practical and written test is required to pass the course.
