Service Description

Students will learn in a shop setting using the Barnett manual. This course will cover all aspects of bike repair and maintenance needed for working in a bike shop as a technician. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Classes are Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM with a lunch break.  Register to become a bike mechanic. This 4-week program will take you through the fundamentals of bike repair and maintenance. Be prepared to put your skills to work in a modern bike shop with a thorough understanding of bike mechanics, including electric bikes. Each semester we register a maximum of 4 students for our bike mechanic course. Your hands-on education will included access to your own work bench with a full set of Park Tools. You will also have access to your own wheel truing station and electric bike lift. The shop also boasts a Morizumi spoke cutting and threading (SCT) machine as well as all the diagnostic tools for trouble shooting and repairing electric bikes. You will be learning from a combination of the Barnett Manual and the Park Tools System. The Park Tools Big Blue Book of Bike Repair will be provided with Tuition and The Barnett Manual will be offered for sale if available at the time of the course. Daily reading will be required and the shop will be open Saturday's 10 AM - 6 PM for you to practice your skills. A course grade of 90% in both a practical and written test is required to pass the course.

Cancellation Policy

Once accepted into the program you must inform us if you wish to withdraw 10 days before the start of the course. Refunds will not be given after this point.
