Service Description
Pre-requisite: a love of two wheels This course covers the different types of brake systems and how to maintain and adjust them. You will be able to identify the specific application of each type of braking system. At the end of this this module you will have working and practical knowledge of: 1. Mechanical disk brakes 2. Hydraulic disk brakes 3. Brake pad replacement 4. Disk brake rotor replacement 5. Brake bleeding 6. Installing new Disk Brakes 7. Brake adjustments You are welcome to bring and work on your own bike, or one will be provided for you. Class sizes are small and the professional mechanic instructor will inspect and oversee any work. During the course all tools and workspaces are provided. A 20% discount on tools related to this course will be provided at the end of the course. You will be working from the Park Tools Big Blue Book of Bicycle Repair, one will be provided for in class use. The manual is available for purchase for $45.99
Once accepted into the program you must inform us if you wish to withdraw 10 days before the start of the course. Refunds will not be given after this point.
